The 25 Best Rock Drummers Of All-Time
2018-11-23 20:40:36   (Visits: 1608 Times)
photo1,Like many a drummer, Van Halen was influenced early on by jazz great Buddy Rich. Van Halen became one of the giants of the arena rock scene with one of the biggest rock bands in the world. Though brother, Eddie, tended to take most of the spotlight, Alex’s precision and timeliness were integral to Van Halen’s success. His work on the 1984 hit “Hot For Teacher” is perhaps his best work with the band.
2,Lee had no trouble living the life of a rock star during the heyday of the Crue, but still was perhaps the most theatrical drummer of the 1980s. Whether it’s drumming upside down or on a roller-coaster-style track, Lee is an entertainer first and foremost, and that should not be overlooked. He delivered some downright power and skill on such songs as “Wild Side” and “Dr. Feelgood.”
